How Do Pregnancy Medical Centers Support Women?

You may already have strong ties to your local pregnancy medical center or have just connected with the pro-life movement. You may wonder how centers positively impact women and encourage them to choose life.

The answer is both simple and complex. To choose life and carry their baby to term, women need hope. With hope, anything is possible. But the right support is also required. Though services vary by center, most offer some or all of the following:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Obstetric ultrasounds
  • STD testing
  • Options counseling
  • Education or life skills
  • Material assistance (i.e., Baby Boutique)

Typically, pregnancy centers offer these services at no cost to women. Pregnancy medical centers understand that one of the barriers to choosing life is financial, so they strive to ensure their services are as accessible as possible. With no-cost services, women can access the care they need and receive important information about their pregnancy options. Providing community referrals and meeting material needs ensures them they have someone in their corner.
